Why Mindful Materials and Meaningful Spaces Matter?

With over two decades of expertise in interior architecture and design across Taipei, Melbourne, and Luxembourg, Amber has cultivated a dynamic and diverse portfolio. She approaches each project with enthusiasm, striving to evoke various emotional experiences for the users.

After successfully delivering the WELL 22 interior design project, the first office building in Luxembourg to meet the WELL Building Standard certification in 2022, Amber pursued further education on mindful materials by obtaining the 'Healthier Materials & Sustainable Building Certification' at Parsons School of Design. She became one of the few WELL Accredited Professionals in Luxembourg and also joined the WELL Forum Europe and the Mindful Materials A&D Engagement Group for ongoing learning and discussions.

She has developed a deep understanding of the importance of materials selection and spatial design in creating places that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and emotionally resonant.

Amber wants to share her studies, useful platforms, and organizations that provide trustworthy data to support architects in making better choices. Because she believes that people's and environmental health should be placed at the centre of all design decisions.

The presentation will be in English.
