A large visitor attendance for the 5th edition of ARCHITECT@WORK Luxembourg 2024

30 April 2024

ARCHITECT@WORK Luxembourg 2024 welcomed 2,034 in-person visitors, a rise of 33% compared to the 2022 edition that took place after the Covid crisis and which had welcomed 1,526 visitors.

This 2024 edition thus overtook the 2018 attendance figures (1,839  visitors) that, you may recall, had been boosted by the organisation of the “10x6” by Paperjam + Delano Business Club, the first evening of the show with a reception for almost 700 guests.

For this 2024 edition, we were able to note that large numbers of visitors arrived from opening the doors with visits spread over both day and evening and this, in effect, created a good turnout throughout the event.

Let’s not forget to mention the 1,039 individuals who activated their profile on the ARCHITECT@WORK digital platform so they could make contact with manufacturers and/or follow the conferences remotely.

With a comprehensive programme of related events based on the central theme of  "Healthy Materials", the “Gebäudetyp E” conference by the  OAI and the “10x6 New European Bauhaus” by Paperjam + Delano Business Club excited keen interest and attracted numerous architects and planners.

The innovative aspect of the stands, conceived by the Creative Fo(u)r agency, once again brought a special dimension to the visitor experience. The presentation spaces, set into genuine exhibition galleries, offered exceptional visibility to the 200 products presented, all originating from a rigorous selection process. Visitors were able to stroll around the spaces, making direct and fruitful contacts with manufacturers in attendance.

This unique framework, muted and intimate, allowed visitors to find out about new trends and innovations within the sector in an environment that was conducive to exchanges and discussions.

ARCHITECT@WORK Luxembourg also presented an exceptional selection of exhibitions. Amongst these were a photo exhibition offered by the OAI with 14 highlights from the 4th edition of Architectour.lu, the reference guide for finding out about contemporary architecture, engineering and urbanism in the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg. The ‘Heathy Heroes’ exhibition by MaterialDistrict, specially designed for ARCHITECT@WORK, to present a broad range of over 120 samples of innovative materials. The works of ART by Léo Caillard, a contemporary artist  recognised internationally for the quality of his sculptures in marble, as well as for his digital creations at the cutting edge of new technologies.

The ARCHITECT@WORK Luxembourg team would like to express its gratitude to all the visitors, exhibitors, partners and stakeholders of architecture who contributed to the success of this 5th edition. We’re delighted to have been able to create a memorable event that has allowed us to promote the latest trends and innovations in the sector, and to facilitate exchanges and business opportunities for all participants.

To conclude, we’re delighted to announce the sixth edition of ARCHITECT@WORK Luxembourg in 2026. This takes place 22 & 23 April, and we’ll be meeting each other in Luxexpo, The Box.
